Interestingly, the festival’s founders Larry Harvey and John Law describe it as an experiment where people can express themselves as much as possible. For example, in 1995 the theme of the event was “ 😇 Good and 👿 Evil”, in 2009 - “ 📈 Evolution”, 2015 - “Carnival of 🪞 Mirrors”, and in 2018 - “I, 🤖 Robot”.
